TGIF, everyone! Autumn is officially upon us and that means Halloween is just around the corner. If you need a costume, Alberta Theatre Projects and Theatre Calgary are holding a massive costume sale at the EPCOR Centre this Saturday from 10am-6pm (cash preferred). Also on Saturday, Murrieta’s in Canmore is holding a 10 year anniversary celebration, plus there’s the Kananaskis Mountain Festival going on for the next five weekends. But if I were to choose, I’d hit up the Canadian Hot Air Balloon Championships in High River. This community still desperately needs our support, and the event offers something for all age groups. (While you’re in town, be sure to treat yourself to a HP Burger, seasoned fries and ridiculously thick milkshake at the Hitchin Post.)
Here’s what caught my eye this week:
Because it’s now fall, why not drink your pie? Pumpkin cream frappe (under 50 cals!).

As a writer of occasionally ridiculous lists, this made me laugh: 7 Places You HAVE To Go To After You Die.
Love this! Jaktogo is a bag that folds into a jacket so you can wear your luggage!
So now we know: Habits of supremely happy people.
The former dancer in me loves this look.
If the thought of Thanksgiving menus sets you off, check out these amazing options in Calgary.
A Lake Louise larch hike without the crowds.
Hope you have a great weekend (and don’t get too tuckered out).
