The countdown is one. These next few weeks before school begins will be a flurry of activity. Gotta do all the fun things I thought I’d do this summer, but haven’t gotten around to yet. Gotta buy school supplies, get haircuts, the list goes on… As longtime readers will know, August is not my fave. It’s always such a bummer to transition out of summer, but now is a great time to plan a few fun fall events. If only so you have something awesome to look forward to.
The wannabe foodie in me is stoked to check out the Prairie Grid Dinner Series. It’s a one time dinner event, hitting Calgary on September 29 and the other Prairie cities days later. I know the organizers and I know the chefs (basically the top chef in each city), so I know it’s going to be fantastic. I’ve also run the value equations with the number of courses, custom-made products, etc… and have deduced it’s totally worth it.
Here’s a look at what else has caught my eye this month.
