I can’t lie. I’m pretty happy to get back to my routine today. With the exception of 3.5 days in mid-March, our schedule has been all over the map for the past month. These pics give a glimpse into our lives these past two weeks.
There’s still snow at Mount Engadine Lodge in the Kananaskis! We’d never been before and had a wonderful time snowshoeing, cross country skiing and warming up in their wood burning sauna. Definitely going back!
A few days later, the trails were clear and it was sunny enough to ride my bike into Canmore with a friend. Snaps for my riding and picture taking skills!
I made scones! Not just any scones, mind you. These are no time cream drop scones from this lovely cookbook.
Clearly, mama needed new shoes!
What’s a holiday without (more) baking and decorating the mantel? For some reason (maybe because we were shuffling between three homes over spring break), we did all our decorating and baking a full two weeks before the actual holiday. The bonus of being on the ball is that your house looks festive, you feel quite smug and with all the sugar laying around, you are really and truly ready to kick the sugar habit immediately after Easter.
How was your Easter? What did you get up to?[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
