No matter what the season, a hot tub is the perfect way to unwind after a day in the Canadian Rockies. There’s not a lot of Banff hotels with private hot tub action, but we’ve found them! We’ve also listed accommodation options with shared hot tubs and pools available to guests.

Banff Hotels with Private Hot Tubs
When it comes to Banff hotels with a private hot tub on tap, there’s a couple of options to consider. The first is the difference between a hot tub and a jacuzzi or jetted tub.
There are many hotels in Banff that offer jetted bathtubs or jacuzzi tubs. These are often located in the guest room or the guest bathroom, and feature jets or seats within the tub. Hot tubs are usually situated outdoors and aren’t drained like a bathtub. Private hot tubs are hard to find, but we’ve listed the options below.
Hidden Ridge Resort
The Premier King Condo at Hidden Ridge Resort comes with its own private hot tub, set on the balcony, overlooking the Rockies. The hotel also offers a 2-bedroom condo with jetted tub. Guests can also enjoy the upper outdoor hot pool and the lower wading pool.
Rundlestone Lodge
Rundlestone Lodge offers multiple suites with jetted tubs. The King Suite features a 2-person jetted tub, while the King Suite Loft sports 2 levels and a 2-person jetted tub.
Book the Premier Loft King Suite for a jetted tub, 1.5 bathrooms and a full-sized fridge. Guests can also enjoy the hot tub and pool within the hotel.
Banff Caribou Lodge
The Mountain Loft Suite at Banff Caribou Lodge includes a 2-person whirlpool tub. Book the Corner Loft Suite for a large, jetted tub. The hotel also has a hotel pool and fitness center and a spa.
Banff Park Lodge
Rocking a central location in the townsite, Banff Park Lodge has a beautiful indoor pool and hot tub. In the Deluxe Jacuzzi rooms, guests have access to in-room Jacuzzi tubs. Other larger suites include jetted tubs
Banff Hotels with Hot Tubs
If you don’t mind sharing your hot soak with others, there are plenty of Banff hotels with shared hot tub and pool facilities. Here’s a few of our faves.
Moose Hotel
The Moose boasts two roof-top hot tubs that open early and close late – ideal after a long day of skiing or hiking. The hotel also has an outdoor fire pit, indoor pool, spa, and fitness centre.
Fairmont Banff Springs
Regal Fairmont Banff Springs is situated close enough to walk into downtown Banff, but is secluded enough to offer a peaceful, relaxing experience. Guests can access a lovely indoor pool that’s bathed in natural light, plus a wading pool for the littles and an indoor hot tub.
Best is their outdoor pool – which is kept so warm, it’s pretty much an outdoor hot tub without the jets. They keep this heated pool cranked up, even in the summer months, so you’re guaranteed a good soak, while enjoying poolside bar service to boot.
Spa aficionados ought to venture into the largest Willow Stream Spa in the world, also situated at Fairmont Banff.
The spa includes 3 waterfall pools, and a massive Kur mineral pool. Spa attire, amenities (cookies, fruit and teas), lounges (including a new meditation room) a sauna and steam room are also on tap. Our favourite part of going to this spa is ordering their bento boxes for lunch.
Banff Aspen Lodge
Walking distance to downtown, Banff Aspen Lodge offers 2 outdoor hot tubs with an outdoor fireplace and seating area. Guests also have access to a steam room and sauna.
Rimrock Hotel
The stunning Rimrock Hotel is perched on Sulphur Mountain, making for gorgeous views throughout the property, including guest rooms. The hotel offers an indoor hot tub and swimming pool, open from 8 AM to 10 PM daily.
Fox Hotel and Suites
Possibly the coolest hot tub on this list, the Fox has a cave and basin themed hot pool. This atmospheric hot pool is inside the hotel, but the roof is partially open, creating an indoor/outdoor hot tub experience. It feels very grotto-like and you definitely won’t forget your soak.
Buffalo Mountain Lodge
There’s a wood burning fireplace and luxe amenities inside each guest room at Buffalo Mountain Lodge. They also have a lovely outdoor hot tub to soothe sore muscles.
Sunshine Mountain Lodge
High up in Sunshine Village Ski Resort lies Sunshine Mountain Lodge the only ski-in, ski-out accommodating in Banff National Park. That’s right, guests can fall out of bed and get first access to amazing skiing and hiking on the mountain.
The Lodge offers the largest outdoor hot tub in Banff, perfect for après ski and hike. Guests can also warm up in the cedar-lined dry sauna. Reserve the West Wing Loft Rooms for a private jetted tub.
Mount Royal Hotel
Situated in the heart of downtown Banff, Mount Royal Hotel offers a rooftop hot tub with bar service from the Cascade Lounge. Guests can order their beverages poolside.
Canmore Hotels with Pools and Hot Tubs
Whether you’re just stopping by on your way to Banff or Calgary or are planning to stay a few nights in Canmore, reserve some relaxation time by booking into one of these Canmore hotels with that has a pools and/or hot tub.
Grande Rockies Resort
At Grande Rockies Resort guests can enjoy the heated indoor swimming pool, indoor/outdoor hot tub, and there’s a separate pool for children with a waterslide.
Solara Resort & Spa
Stunning Solara Resort and Spa offers elevated relaxation experiences, including an indoor hot tub and relaxation pool, as well as the One Wellness and Spa. The Spa has a steam room, relaxation lounge and sauna.
Falcon Crest Lodge
Falcon Crest Lodge boasts two outdoor hot tubs, delivering pristine views of the stunning nearby mountains such as Three Sisters, Ha-Ling and the Rundle mountain range.
Stoneridge Mountain Resort
A short walk from downtown Canmore, Stoneridge Mountain Resort has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. These family-friendly pools are in the courtyard of the hotel, creating a relaxing atmosphere away from nearby businesses.
Malcolm Hotel
Within easy walking distance of downtown Canmore, the Malcolm Hotel offers stunning views both from guest rooms, the fitness centre and their pools.
The hotel offers a rooftop, heated, outdoor pool and 2 hot tubs. While relaxing, visitors can take in views of the Three Sisters and Lawrence Grassi mountain ranges. If you want to cool off, the property is situated next to Spring Creek.
Jasper Hotels with Hot Tubs
A 4-hour drive from Edmonton and approximately 5-hours from Calgary, Jasper is a stunning location for a getaway in any season. Regardless of when you choose to visit, check out one of these Jasper hotels with a hot tub and add some relaxation to your visit.
Chateau Jasper

It goes without saying, both afford stunning views over Lac Beauvert, which is also easily accessible from guest rooms.
Mount Robson Inn
Within walking distance to downtown Jasper, Mount Robson Inn offers 2 outdoor hot tubs. These hot tubs are a pretty sweet place to watch the mountains during the day or better yet, the stars at night.
Tonquin Inn
Relax indoors at the Tonquin Inn in their 72’ swimming pool or the indoor hot tub. Guests can also nip into 2 outdoor hot tubs and 3 saunas. The hotel is quiet and cozy, with easy access to downtown.
Pyramid Lake Resort
Set upon the shores of Pyramid Lake, Pyramid Lake Resort has recently renovated guest rooms and offers an outdoor hot tub and dry sauna. All guests rooms are privy to stunning views of Pyramid Mountain and the lake and have a mini fridge.
