Tip of the Week: Prtty Peaushun

pretty potion

You just know Tracy Anderson uses it!

If you’ve ever wondered how celebrities get their legs looking so hot, it’s not just because they have a swat team helping them look ripped. After months of searching, I finally found their go-to product at Joydrop in Calgary: Prtty Peaushun.

Prtty Peaushun

Developed by a celebrity makeup artist, Prtty Peaushun is a non-toxic, paraben-free body lotion that gives gams a golden glow while tightening up skin and reflecting light. Some kind of natural plant extracts tighten, lift and firm the appearance of cellulite, stretch marks and varicose veins. Basically, your legs (and other body parts) will look 10x better with a quick application – no surgery or injectables required!

I tried it out for the first time last week and was super happy with the results. It’s got a lovely, light citrusy scent and goes on easily. There’s a shimmery sheen when you apply it, though it’s not at all sparkly. It also doesn’t streak like self-tanners tend to do.

Shades of pretty potionThe only bummer is I should’ve gone for a darker shade. I’m super fair skinned, so I went with the Medium lotion. I should’ve opted for Dark and people who actually tan should go for Deep Dark.

At $49, it’s not cheap, but considering it retails for $59 on Goop, Gwenyth’s site, this is actually a decent price. #worthit

Ready, set, summer!

Okay – I am in. Maybe that way I will actually wear shorts this summer. I’m going to pick up the deep dark and I’ll let you know how it goes!

Yes, let me know – though if memory serves, your legs are already nicely golden and toned!
